The short version: the majority of Argenne rings are open and adjustable, fitting roughly UK K to T. If the product page says Adjustable, there is no size to pick.
For fixed-size rings
A small number of our designs are made in fixed sizes. We stock three, listed in UK sizes with the US equivalent:
| Argenne size | UK | US | Inside diameter | Typically fits |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| L | L | 6 | 16.5mm | Smaller fingers |
| N | N | 7 | 17.3mm | Most common size |
| P | P | 8 | 18.2mm | Larger fingers |
Our fixed rings are made to US whole sizes, so each sits around half a UK size above the letter shown. If you are between sizes, we suggest going down rather than up.
How to measure at home
- Take a strip of paper about 5mm wide and wrap it around the base of your finger.
- Mark where the paper overlaps, then lay it flat and measure the length in millimetres.
- That measurement is your finger circumference — 52mm is roughly a UK L, 54mm an N, 57mm a P.
Worth knowing
- Fingers are slightly larger at the end of the day and in warm weather.
- Measure the hand you will actually wear the ring on — most people differ between hands.
- A wider band needs a slightly larger size than a fine one.
