Argenne began with a simple frustration: beautiful jewellery is either expensive, or it feels cheap in the hand. There was not much in between.
What we set out to do
We wanted to make pieces that look and feel like fine jewellery — real sterling silver, real moissanite, properly finished — at a price you do not have to think twice about. Not costume jewellery pretending to be more. Not a mined stone costing several months of rent. Something honest, in the middle, that you can wear on a Tuesday without worrying about it.
Our name comes from argent — the French for silver, and the old heraldic term for the colour white. It seemed like the right place to start.
How we work
We keep the range tight and the margins sensible. Every piece is hand-checked before it is boxed, and every order goes out in an Argenne box rather than a polybag — because how something arrives is part of how it feels to own.
The live shows
Most of our customers meet us live. Three nights a week we go on camera and show the pieces in real light, in a real hand — not a retouched studio image. You can see exactly how a stone catches the light, ask questions, and get an honest answer. It is the closest thing to a jewellery counter we can offer, and it keeps us accountable.
